FollowUp Manager

The application was created as support for the Collection Department and the Call Center, in order to organize bad debt collection for customers that benefit from various crediting products (credits, credit cards, overdrafts). FollowUp Manager represents both an operational system and a system for informing the management:

  • Efficiently organizes and manages the collection activity
    • Organizes the activity of collection officers by assigning every officer a number of clients based on the decision of the collection manager
    • Offers support for collection officers through an easy-to-use interface that assigns, based on a set of characteristics, a plan of action for every account in the database. This plan is chosen from a list of predefined collection plans and can be manually modified by the user through the interface
    • Records every action taken for each account and the comments made by the collection officer
    • Monitors the actions of the collection officers in order to streamline activity
    • Manages the database that stores each bad debt entry of each credit account in the portfolio during the crediting contract period
  • Information
  • Collects data with statistical purposes for:
    • Accurately establishing client profiles
    • Eligibility criteria and scorecard modifications
    • Targeted sending of messages
    • Refining plans of action and methods used for bad debt collection
  • Generates reports concerning collection activity for informing the management

Benefits

Using FollowUp Manager enables controlling bad debt accounts, thus obtaining a minor bad debt percentage and a diminished delay of payment. As a result of the automation of the management and late installment collection a competitive advantage on the Romanian market is obtained by maintaining the losses resulted from individual credits at a minimum.

FollowUp Manager allows the Collection Department to deal with larger volumes of bad debtors for all crediting products in maximum security conditions.

Using specific data stored in the database associated to the FollowUp Manager application, the Collection Department can offer a structured, real-time feedback for all parts involved in the individual crediting process, such as information on the payment behavior of a bank client that has benefited/benefits from a crediting product and applies for another banking product or correlation of information on the payment behavior of every client that has benefited from multiple crediting products (concomitantly or successively).

The information offered by the FollowUp Manager can be used to create new products or modify existent ones, establish profiles for clients that the products are aimed at and send targeted information towards clients who might be interested in these. The application can also be used for monitoring the activity of collection officers and Call Center operators, and evaluating the efficiency of used collection methods.
