The main aspects concerning the security of the solutions are described below:

• The user access is granted through authentication with a username and a password;
• Access is blocked after a predefined number of unsuccessful authentication attempts;
• The administrating module enables the assignment of well-defined roles for each user; through this device a certain user can only access certain modules and functionalities of the application;
• Communication between the user’s computer and the application server is carried out securely using the HTTPS protocol with 128bytes encryption;
• The data introduced and stored in the database associated with each application is encrypted 3DES;
• The application monitors the users’ actions – the number of changes the introduced information suffers is limited according to the importance of the field, all changes being stored for subsequent visualization (logs);
• For partner banks that use a scorecard, this is stored within the bank location, no information from the database regarding client behaviour being externalized
